And that was a great choice for the onions. I planted mine among the melons -- for heaven's sake! -- and as of yesterday I feel like I can say that I think they are going to grow and be happy. In about a month they will make WONDERFUL little green onions for salads, etc. They the rest will just grow along and I can use them as needed.
